Dr. Manoj Shah, the Third Vice President of Lions Club International, stated that there is a growing demand for Pakistani pharmaceuticals in Kenya. As a result, Pakistani pharmaceutical manufacturers are investing in the sector. Four Pakistani pharmaceutical plants are being established in Kenya, and Pakistani companies can significantly impact pharmaceutical manufacturing in Kenya. He expressed these views while addressing a dinner organized in his honour by former International Director, PMJF Lion Malik Khuda Bakhsh, at a local gymkhana.
The event also featured speeches from former Federal Minister Ms. Nilofar Bakhtiar, President of United Business Group Zubair Tufail, former Senior Vice President of FPCCI Khalid Tawab, Deputy Patron-in-Chief of KATI Zubair Chhaya, PCC Lion Ms. Ayesha Malik, and others. The Chairman of the Arif Habib Group, Arif Habib, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Mian Zahid Hussain, Atif Munir, Noor-ul-Siam Noor, and other notable figures were also present.
Dr. Manoj Shah mentioned that he is ready to play a role in enhancing trade opportunities between Pakistan and Kenya. He offered all the necessary information to Pakistani investors interested in investing in any African country. The Vice President of Lions Club International emphasized that Lions Club is at the forefront of humanitarian work worldwide, including in Pakistan, where aid has been provided and homes have been built for those affected by floods. He paid tribute to Malik Khuda Bakhsh and Ayesha Malik for their excellent services to Lions Club International.
Addressing the gathering, Malik Khuda Bakhsh expressed his joy and pride in welcoming the Third Vice President of Lions Club International to Pakistan and thanked Dr Manoj Shah for accepting their invitation to visit Pakistan. He noted that Dr. Manoj Shah was elected the Third Vice President in Australia and has dedicated many years to serving Lions Club International globally. Khuda Bakhsh emphasized the immense value of Shah’s unwavering support for Pakistan over the years.
