Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry awarded certificates to KPT firefighters, security personnel, and the Traffic Department for averting a major fire incident at one of the KPT terminals on January 26.

He lauded Karachi Port Trust under the incumbent Chairman for pursuing operational excellence, including transhipment, bunkering and smooth functioning on a 24/7 basis. On this occasion, CEO KICT also announced cash awards for firefighters.

The Minister also recognised Ms Almas Qasmani as KPT’s Mangroves Ambassador and presented appreciation certificates to her team.
