FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL) has partnered with A2Z Energy Systems to implement a 2MW solar photovoltaic plant and a 4 MWh battery energy storage system. This initiative supports FCEPL’s decarbonization strategy and commitment to sustainable energy.

The hybrid system aims to enhance energy cost efficiency, improve power reliability, and mitigate grid volatility amid rising tariffs. Mr Kashan Hasan, CEO of FrieslandCampina, emphasised the importance of sustainable energy to reduce the carbon footprint in dairy farming.

A2Z Energy Systems will serve as the EPC contractor, ensuring effective project execution. Mr. Anwar ul Hasan, Chairman of A2Z, noted the project’s dual focus on sustainability and financial performance. This collaboration aims to deliver cost savings, enhance operational continuity, and contribute to a sustainable future for Pakistan.
