FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL) has partnered with State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) to launch a life insurance program for over 1,500 dairy farmers and their families. This initiative, part of FCEPL’s commitment to farmer welfare, offers free accidental death and permanent disability insurance under the Dairy Farmers Insurance Programme.

Imran Hussain, Deputy Managing Director of FCEPL, emphasized that building a sustainable dairy ecosystem involves investing in farmers’ well-being. The program aims to provide financial protection and peace of mind to farming communities.

Faisal Mumtaz, Chief Actuary at SLIC, noted that this initiative addresses income vulnerability and promotes financial inclusion within the agricultural sector. Together, FCEPL and SLIC aim to create a more resilient and sustainable agricultural economy in Pakistan.
