Faraz-ur-Rehman announced his early retirement as President of KTI.

“Due to his other commitments, Faraz ur Rehman, President of KATI and Chairman of PBGO, has taken early retirement. During his press briefing, he said, ‘I am very disheartened with the current economic situation; people are not able to afford even their bread.’ He further stated that Karachi is the only hope. He requested the leaders of the nation to, in their own interest, not destroy Karachi. He said that during his tenure, he put in all efforts to uplift all people of Pakistan, emphasizing that this is the time for unity, faith, and discipline.

He mentioned that Pakistan cannot overcome crises without following Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of unity, faith, and discipline. He said, ‘My doors are open for all my loved ones, wherever I can help them without any position, I will.'”

Furthermore, Faraz-ur-Rehman nominated Nighat Awan, Senior Vice President KATI as the Acting President KATI, who took charge with immediate effect; moreover, Muslim Mohamedi currently holding the position of Vice President has assumed the charge as Acting Senior Vice President. He also appointed Farhan ur Rehman as the Chairman and Patron-In-Chief of the Pakistan Business Group Organization.
