Emirates has been recognized at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) Awards, winning Best Airline Worldwide, Best First Class, and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East for its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport. Deputy President Adnan Kazim accepted the awards on behalf of the airline.

These accolades reflect Emirates’ commitment to enhancing customer experiences both in-flight and on the ground. With a fleet of 219 Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s undergoing refurbishment and new Airbus A350 deliveries, Emirates is modernizing its network of nearly 140 destinations, ensuring an elevated travel experience.

Emirates’ First Class offers luxury with private suites, a dine-on-demand menu, unlimited caviar paired with Dom Pérignon champagne, and exclusive amenities. First Class Lounges at Dubai International provide à la carte dining, spa treatments, premium shopping, and direct boarding from select gates.

The airline is also investing in technology, having implemented Starlink for high-speed internet on 36 aircraft, allowing customers to stay connected during flights. Additionally, Emirates will launch a daily flight to Helsinki in October, establishing a direct year-round link between Finland and the UAE.
