Easypaisa becomes leading mobile and online payments platform in Pakistan

A new attractive App has been re-launched by Easypaisa in Pakistan to facilitate its customers across the country. This was disclosed by Mr. Omar Moeen Malik, head of Digital Payments and Wallets of the Company to a select digital media personalities in Karachi today.

The software has been developed by IT experts of Easypaisa to make the smartphone base App with lots of services on one click away, in fact improved version of software, which introduced in 2009 and 2017. This new App version is the most advance and improved software of Easypaisa’s App that was first developed in 2004 with outsourcing expertise. The new App was developed with the dedicated hard work, which lasted over one year, aimed to alter services, organization and investors prospects.

More than 200 IT Experts have made this App possible, which is very easy to access and pay utilities bills, top-ups, tickets, transfer of money, Daraz, Airlift, Careem and others, Omar disclosed and added that Easypaisa directly and indirectly has generated a big number of employment through this product/service in the country.

According to estimates, so far 16 million customers have downloaded this App and over six million active customers are benefiting through this facility of payment across Pakistan. More than 75000 shops are integrated with Easypaisa for deposit and withdrawal of cash. This kind of service in branch less banking is over shading the traditional banking, Omar contend.

It may be mentioned here that with the largest footprint in the country, constant innovation, an ever-growing range of ground-breaking digital solutions and the Easypaisa App, Easypaisa is turning into a complete lifestyle platform which enables people across Pakistan to truly adopt the digital way of life.
