deugro’s 8th Sustainable Shipping, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Summit & Exhibition concludes successfully in Karachi

Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi, a senior leader of PTI and member of Provincial Assembly Sindh, while summing up the deugro’s 8th Sustainable Shipping, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Summit & Exhibition, has said that country will come out from the present economic crises and will prosper Insha Allah as present govt. has taking up all the matters on transparent manner.

He said that his govt. in centre is reviewing all the projects related with the CPEC and particularly six economic zones, where the interest of the country would be safeguarded on bilateral basis.

The event concluded successfully at a local hotel in Karachi. Theme of the conference was “CPEC the way to success and prosperity for Pakistan”.

Prominent speakers from various corporate companies have presented their presentations on the important global subject of Shipping & Supply Chain Management. Mehmood Tareen Founder & CEO of The Professionals Network and organizer of the event along with Malik Naeem Azam, Managing Director, deugro Projects and Logistics outlined the importance of the event and summarized the progress and achievement of deugro..

Mr. Ateeq Ur Rehman, CEO, Coastals Packers & Movers, Trade and Economy Analyst has also spoken on the occasion.

Commodore Muhammad Abuzar Khan, Director Business Development, Bahria Foundation outlined the long list of projects that include LNG Terminal, Refinery, Ship Building and Repair Yard, Fish processing facility, Oil & Gas Exploration, Ferry Service etc., which they intend to build in coming years.

Mr. Malik Naeem Azam, Managing Director, Deugro Projects & Logistics (Pvt) Ltd briefly touched upon the company profile and said that the company was set up in 1924 in Germany which has now seventy companies in forty countries and has become one of the leading project logistic companies in Pakistan.

Mr. Nasir Mehmood, Former VP and Advisor Ports, Shipping & Multimodal Transport Sub Committee of KCCI.;Mr. Ziad Chowdhrey, Country CFO, Novartis Pharma Pakistan Limited; Mr. Mir Sarmad Khero, Regional Business Manager – ERP Cloud Applications at Oracle Pakistan; Mr. Junaid Qureshi, Manager Operations, Pakistan International Container Terminal; Mr. Muhammad Hanif Ajari, Director Supply Chain, Commercial & Company Secretary, Getz Pharma (Pvt) Ltd., have also read out their presentations.
