Coca‑Cola Pakistan recognised with two sustainability awards

Coca‑Cola Pakistan was recognised with two awards at the 15th International Summit on Corporate Social Responsibility for its efforts in water stewardship and sustainability innovation. The company received the Excellence in Water Stewardship Award and the Innovation in Sustainability Award, presented by Federal Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal. Dr Faisal Hashmi, Senior Director at Coca‑Cola Pakistan, accepted the awards, highlighting the company’s commitment to Pakistan’s sustainability goals.

The summit gathered representatives from various organisations to discuss sustainable business practices. The Excellence in Water Stewardship Award recognised initiatives such as the Water for Women program and Recharge Pakistan, which focus on clean water access and climate resilience. The Innovation in Sustainability Award was for the ‘Maidaan Saaf’ initiative during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which implemented waste management and recycled PET bottles into yarn for T-shirts, reaching millions through public service messages.

In his keynote, Minister Kamal stressed the importance of shifting to preventive healthcare by ensuring access to safe drinking water, particularly for mothers and children, and encouraged collaboration between companies and the government to enhance community health outcomes.
