Chery Master Pakistan is set to launch the Tiggo 7 PHEV, a 5-seater plug-in hybrid SUV, on April 10. This initiative enhances the company’s lineup of locally assembled new energy vehicles and aims to boost competition in the SUV market.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, an 18.3 kWh battery, and a hybrid transmission, producing 342 horsepower and offering over 90 kilometres of electric range. It claims a fuel cost reduction of over 70% compared to conventional SUVs in electric mode.
With advanced safety features, including eight airbags and Level 2 driver assistance systems, the vehicle targets delivery by June 2026. Pricing and booking details will be revealed on launch day. The Tiggo 7 PHEV positions itself as a viable cost-efficient alternative in Pakistan’s growing hybrid market.
