Malik Muhammad Bostan, Chairman of the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, expressing optimism that the deal will help bring an end to the two-year-long war in Gaza.
In an official statement, Bostan urged all parties to ensure the immediate implementation of the agreement. He emphasized the need for the release of all Palestinian women and children, the prevention of any future escalation, and urgent steps to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
He stated, “The global community desires a just resolution where Palestinians govern their own land. This ceasefire opens the door to a future rooted in justice and stability for the people of the region.”
Bostan also called for the swift exchange of prisoners as outlined in the agreement and stressed the immediate withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza. He noted that collaborative efforts with regional powers, including Iran, could further strengthen the peace process.
