BYD’s Shark 6 DMO pick-up has earned a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, highlighting its suitability for both work and active lifestyles. It demonstrates excellent crash protection and advanced avoidance technology, scoring 82% and 86% for adult and child occupant safety, respectively. The vehicle scored 74% for vulnerable road users and 87% in safety assistance, highlighting features like autonomous emergency braking and lane-departure support.

Stella Li, BYD’s Executive VP, emphasized the company’s ability to innovate and deliver intelligent solutions, making the Shark 6 a pivotal vehicle in their lineup, capable of traveling up to 90km on electric power alone.

The SHARK 6 features a hybrid powertrain with a total output of 436HP, achieving 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds, and a combined range of 800km with its 29.5kWh Blade Battery and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. It offers a spacious, comfortable cabin with advanced technologies, including a large infotainment screen, a digital instrument panel, and various connectivity options.
