This landmark constitutional reform, which unifies the command of the armed forces, is viewed as a decisive step toward enhancing national security, military efficiency, and regional stability—all prerequisites for sustained economic growth.
Mian Zahid Hussain acknowledged that the Chief of Defence Staff position unifies the roles of the Army and service chiefs, reflecting the modern needs of warfare. With Field Marshal Munir at the helm, the CDF aims to strengthen Pakistan’s defense and enhance investor confidence, thereby promoting economic success.
