The 7th session of the 3rd day of 11th international Urdu conference, was books launching ceremony. Seven books were launched on the occasion including Elas banam Faiz by Syed Mazhar Jameel, Bheer Ma by Azra Abbas, Anarkali by Mirza Hamid Baig, Rooh e Qadeem ki kism by Sabir Zafar, Hermitage by Amir Hussain, Qisa Goi and Kuliyat e Ahmed Nadeem.

These books were presented by Anwar Ahmed, Ifzal Ahmed Syed, Zia ul hassan, Shah Bano Alvi, Shamah Askari and Ahmed Shah Respectively where hosted by Nuzhat Abbasi.

Shamah Askari readed a short story by Amir Hussain, where zia ul hassan discussed both Anar Kali and Rooh e Qadeem. President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah talked about the book of Ahmed Naveed’s book “Kuliyat e Ahmed Naveed”. He shared his journey with Ahmed Naveed from University of Karachi to present. Afzal Ahmed Syed discussed the book “Bheer ma” by Azra Abbas. He read the poems of Azra abbas and talked about her literary life. Anwar Ahmed Talked about the book “Elis Banam Faiz” by Syed Mazhar Jameel.

The book contains the letters of Elis to Faiz Ahmed Faiz while he was in Jail. At the end of the third day International Mushayara Held at Arts Council with many renown poets and poetess from the world.
