Binance AI Systems prevent US$4.6 billion in potential losses in H1 2026

Binance’s AI-driven risk systems helped protect more than 8 million users and prevent about US$4.6 billion in potential losses in the first half of 2026, as the company expanded AI use across security, anti-fraud, and compliance operations.

Binance said its systems intercepted millions of scam and phishing attempts, blacklisted more than 42,000 malicious addresses and issued over 14,000 real-time risk warnings daily. The company currently operates more than 100 AI models, with AI handling 80–90% of real-time risk decisions while human analysts remain involved in complex and high-risk cases.

AI is also being used across identity verification, account security, payments and transaction monitoring. Binance said its AI-enabled KYC processes have delivered up to 100x operational efficiency gains in specific workflows, while more than 24 AI initiatives have been deployed across compliance and user onboarding. Chief Security Officer Jimmy Su said the company continues to combine AI-driven scale with human expertise to strengthen protection against evolving forms of fraud and social engineering.
