Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus Middle Section recently held an exhibition titled ‘From Waste to Art,’ focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12 and SDG 13). This event allowed students to creatively transform discarded materials into art, promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable living.
The exhibition featured diverse artworks made from recycled materials such as paper, plastic, and wood, showcasing imaginative reuse techniques. Distinguished guest artists, including Aliya Yousuf, Zabad Anwer, and Aliya Faizi, attended the event to inspire students.
School Principal Ms Tabinda Raza expressed pride in the students’ commitment to sustainability, while Headmistress Ms Humaira Shahab emphasised the exhibition’s message about the need for responsible consumption and recycling. The event also welcomed representatives from the Beaconhouse Regional Office.
Looking ahead, Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus aims to expand this initiative by collaborating with local communities to further promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
