President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah has appointed former senior director of KMC and former member of governing body Bashir Sadozai as the Resident Director of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Central. Bashir Sadozai is popular in the city’s academic, literary and social circles, on whose appointment writers, poets and artists have expressed their happiness and thanked the President of the Arts Council, Muhammad Ahmad Shah.

Along with appointing a dynamic social worker and scholar in the institution, it is expected that Bashir Sadozai will support and patronise Karachi’s writers, poets and artists, especially in the Central district. His book on the history of Karachi municipality, which is actually the history of Karachi, has received much acclaim in research circles. At the same time, recently, his travelogue of Azerbaijan, “Koh-e-Qaf ki Chotiyaan” has also been published.

Bashir Sadozai has also been a member of the governing body of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi for six years.
