Bank Alfalah reports 39% rise in half-year 2026 profit

Bank Alfalah Limited announced a 39.6% increase in profit after tax to PKR 21.32 billion for the half-year ended June 30, 2026. Earnings per share rose to PKR 6.76, up from PKR 4.84 last year. The Board declared an interim cash dividend of PKR 3.0 per share (60%).

Total deposits reached PKR 2.66 trillion, with current deposits at PKR 1.15 trillion. Gross advances totaled PKR 1.16 trillion, reflecting strong growth across Consumer, SME, and Agriculture segments. Net Interest Income rose by 5%, while Non-Fund Income increased by 46% due to capital gains and heightened fee income.

The Bank’s capital adequacy ratio stood at 17.4%. Recently, Bank Alfalah inaugurated its 1,200th branch and is issuing a PKR 20 billion Subordinated Tier II Term Finance Certificate, rated AAA by PACRA.

Looking ahead, Bank Alfalah aims for sustainable growth through an expanded lending portfolio and a focus on digital transformation and operational efficiency.
