Senior officer of the Information Ministry, Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil, has been appointed as Federal Secretary, Information and Broadcasting. Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil belongs to the 25th Common of the Information Group and has over 27 years of extensive experience in public communication, media management, administration, and policy implementation.

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil has served in several key positions throughout his distinguished career, including Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Director General PID Peshawar, Regional General Manager PEMRA, and Press Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo. His professional career demonstrates strong expertise in communication strategy, crisis management, digital media, financial oversight, and organizational leadership.

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Peshawar. He has completed various advanced national and international professional training programs that have further enhanced his capabilities.
