The International Dance Day 2023 program was organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi in connection with the International Dance Day in Auditorium I. The Minister of Culture and Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah took a special part in International Dance Day. At the same time, the President of the Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah welcomed all the guests. Famous classical dancers Nighat Chaudhry, Mohsin Babar, Farrukh Darbar (Kathak), Wahab Shah & Co., Mani Chao (Bharatnatym), Abdul Ghani and Khurram (Fusion), Kaif Ghaznavi were present at the International Dance Day. , Iram Basheer and Abdul Sattar (Semi-Classical), Reham and Daniya (Breakdance), Samira (Folk), Waqar Samrat, Ali Popper, Adnan Tal (Hip Hop), Lamiya Faheem (Contemporary) and DJ Jhon Group, Sajan Group, Deewana Group, Adnan Jhangir (Lahore), Yusha and Mr. and Mrs Sikandar presented a wonderful performance.

On this occasion, Minister of Culture and Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that Ahmed Shah and I are spiritual dancers. Dance is our tradition. It is a tradition of Bulleh Shah. There are a large number of male dancers. Our nature is full of dance. For five thousand years, we have the testimony of the dance in the statue of the dancing girl of Moen Jo Daro. President of Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah expressed his opinion and said that this universe dances, the sun dances, and we dance in the wedding of children. The blood of our body also dances. But we people don’t dance. It’s not a problem of religion; it’s a problem of culture. We don’t have the freedom to be happy, it’s our basic right to be happy.

Renowned classical dancer Nighat Chaudhry expressed his opinion and thanked Arts council of Pakistan Karachi and Mohammad Ahmed Shah for providing us with this platform. The Arts Council has played a very important role in making this video. If Ahmed Shah did not support us, this video might not be in front of you. Ahmed Shah always supports artists. As many as we have gurus, we will present a tribute to them on every International Dance Day. Renowned classical dancer Mani Chao expressed that it has been 32 years since I came to this field—talent in our country. There is no lack of.
