Approval of fund allocation for Karachi’s industrial areas will boost investment, Faisal Moiz Khan

Faisal Moiz Khan, the President of North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), has described the Sindh government’s approval of Rs. 9.28 billion for all the industrial areas of the city as a revolutionary and positive step. He stated that for economic stability, export growth is essential, and infrastructure development should be the top priority for this growth. The funds provided by Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, for the restoration of industrial infrastructure, road repairs, and maintenance will not only restore the confidence of the business community but also increase investment.

Faisal Moiz Khan noted that the industrial areas of North Karachi, along with other industrial zones in the city, have long faced infrastructure issues, severely impacting industrial activity.

He said that the Chief Minister of Sindh’s announcement will eliminate these problems and boost industrial growth. With improved infrastructure, foreign investors and buyers who had previously stopped coming to industrial areas will return. He expressed his gratitude to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Minister for Industries Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab for their special attention to resolving the issues of industrial areas, adding that with their continued support, sustainable change will now take place in the industrial infrastructure.

He further said that the establishment of a monitoring committee to ensure transparent fund use will further strengthen trust between the government and industrial stakeholders.

Faisal Moiz Khan also praised Mayor Murtaza Wahab for his efforts to launch the TP-1 and TP-3 projects, calling them an important step for the city that will help address the water shortage.
