During a recent visit to Karachi, Pakistan, I had the opportunity to tour the facilities of Meraj Limited at Korangi Industrial Area Rd, behind Main, Sector 15 Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, Karachi City. The Company is a multinational manufacturer specialising in special application trucks, pumps, and equipment.
The Company, founded in 1976 by Mr Iftikhar Hussain Qureshi, is renowned for using cutting-edge technology and automated engineering methods in production to meet local and overseas requirements.
What astonished me most about Meraj Limited was the scope and scale of its manufacturing facility. The Company boasts a modern, well-equipped plant with a paint shop, CNC shop, R&D department, and calibrated design tools that meet international standards. It was clear that the Company is committed to providing top-quality products to its customers while using the most advanced technology.
One of the most impressive aspects of Meraj Limited’s business is the diversity of its product range. From fire trucks and aerial platforms to mobile cranes and municipality trucks, the Company offers a wide variety of products designed to meet the needs of both private and government clients.
Additionally, the Company has earned many European and American product conformity certificates, underscoring its commitment to quality and safety.
As I made my way around the Meraj Limited facility, I was surprised by the dedication and skill of the workforce. The Company’s co-polymer department has a diverse range of products produced to meet its wide variety of requirements for their CBUs was particularly impressive, and it was evident that every employee took great pride in their work.
In conclusion, my visit to Meraj Limited made me admire the Company’s commitment to excellence and innovation. The use of advanced methods in the manufacturing process, coupled with the diversity of their product range, ensures that Meraj Limited is well-positioned to continue as a leading manufacturer in the engineering and special application truck sector for years.
