The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) hosted its inaugural Surgical Nursing Conference, bringing together healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers to discuss advances in surgical nursing and promote quality, safety, and innovation in patient care.

The conference featured sessions on evidence-based practice, artificial intelligence, digital health and perioperative care, alongside research presentations and panel discussions. AKUH leaders highlighted the critical role of skilled nurses in improving surgical outcomes and emphasized the need for continuous professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration.
