The Chief Minister of Sindh pledged to tackle business challenges during the KATI annual dinner

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized that industrial development and investment are key to strengthening the economy and creating employment opportunities. At the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) annual dinner, he assured support for the industrial sector and said he would work to resolve business challenges.

Notable attendees included outgoing KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput and various government officials. Responding to industrialists’ requests, Shah announced an emergency snorkel for the industrial area and addressed concerns about the Yellow Line project, promising to ensure that industrial operations remain uninterrupted.

Shah highlighted the government’s allocation of Rs9.282 billion to improve Karachi’s industrial infrastructure and noted improvements in law and order. He called for more meetings with KATI to discuss issues related to industrial operations and infrastructure. He congratulated the newly elected KATI leadership and acknowledged the contributions of outgoing officials.

KATI President Rajput reported progress on infrastructure projects benefiting the Korangi Industrial Area and thanked the government for its support.

KATI Acting Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya urged meaningful consultation before implementing projects like the Yellow Line to protect industrial activities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for ongoing industrial development.
