The Customs Agents Alliance-backed panel has won all seats in the annual elections of the All Pakistan Customs Agents Association, securing a clean sweep against the panel backed by the Businessmen Group (BMG).

According to the results, 494 votes were cast. In the Associate Class, the Customs Agents Alliance-backed panel secured 321 votes, while the BMG-backed panel received 41 votes. Another 63 votes were recorded as mixed votes.

In the Corporate Class, 60 votes were cast, with the Customs Agents Alliance winning all seats.

The results showed that all candidates nominated by the Customs Agents Alliance were elected with clear majorities, while the entire BMG-backed panel failed to secure any of the seats.

After the results were announced, Customs Agents Alliance leaders, including Asif Sakhi and Khurram Ejaz, along with their supporters, celebrated the victory and congratulated one another.

The alliance leadership said they would continue their efforts to support customs agents, resolve business-related difficulties, and address issues confronting the trade community.
