The Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) has announced its full support for the Businessmen Group in the upcoming Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) elections. Group Chairman Abdul Rahim Janoo and other REAP leaders highlighted the Businessmen Group’s effective role in representing and addressing the needs of the business community.

In a joint statement, they acknowledged Mr. Zubair Motiwala’s significant contributions, noting his past support in facilitating REAP members’ election to KCCI leadership. They emphasized the importance of strong, informed leadership for Karachi’s business community, which is crucial for Pakistan’s economy. REAP leaders stated that challenges facing the business community require coordinated efforts between the Karachi Chamber, government, and private sector.

They expressed hope that the Businessmen Group would prioritize and resolve these issues effectively. The REAP reiterated the importance of increasing exports for strengthening the economy, stressing the vital role of rice exports. They called on the Karachi business community to support the Businessmen Group and expressed confidence in their success in the elections.
