BankIslami has teamed up with EFU Life Assurance and EFU General Insurance to offer affordable microtakaful protection through its mobile banking app. Customers can enroll, pay, and claim coverage for various plans, including health, accident, digital security, and home protection.

The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony in Karachi, attended by key representatives from both organizations. This initiative aligns with BankIslami’s strategy to enhance its digital banking services and extend Shariah-compliant takaful coverage to a broader audience.

Waqas Anis, BankIslami’s Chief Digital & AI Officer, emphasized the goal of creating a digital ecosystem that meets customers’ financial needs and makes Takaful coverage more accessible. Overall, this partnership enhances BankIslami’s digital offerings and supports its mission to eliminate Riba.
