Zindigi (JS Bank) has partnered with WASA Lahore to introduce Raast QR-based bill payments, enhancing public service delivery and supporting Punjab’s Smart City vision for digital financial inclusion. Customers can now make instant WASA bill payments through participating banking apps, improving convenience and speed.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by senior officials from both organizations. Mr. Ghufran Ahmed, Managing Director of WASA Lahore, highlighted the benefits of the digital payment solution, which will reduce processing time and costs. Mr. Mudasser Javaid, Director of Planning & Evaluation, emphasized its role in modernizing public service delivery.

Mr. Atif Ishaque, Chief Business Officer of Zindigi, noted the partnership’s goal to accelerate the shift toward a cashless economy, showcasing WASA’s digital readiness. This collaboration aims to enhance citizen services and create an efficient payment ecosystem.
