L’Oréal Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in its domestic capability-building by successfully localizing Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), a key ingredient in shampoo production. This marks a strategic partnership with Tufail Chemical Industries Ltd., a qualified local supplier, reinforcing L’Oréal’s investment in Pakistan’s industrial growth and reducing dependence on imports.
Rehan Saeed, Executive General Manager at L’Oréal Pakistan, emphasized that this achievement reflects their trust in the Pakistani industry and enhances supply chain resilience. The partnership aligns with L’Oréal’s sustainability goals by reducing logistics-related emissions, improving supply chain agility, and ensuring adherence to global quality standards.
This initiative showcases L’Oréal Pakistan’s commitment to developing local manufacturing capabilities and promoting long-term growth and sustainability in the region.
