Jubilee Life Insurance, along with Kashf Foundation and UNDP, has launched the “Khushal Mustaqbil Takaful (KMT),” a micro-savings and protection product designed to enhance financial resilience for women in underserved communities.
The partnership was formalized in Lahore, marking an important step towards financial inclusion and gender-responsive insurance solutions. KMT is a yearly renewable endowment Takaful plan specifically for Kashf Foundation’s women borrowers, combining life protection with long-term savings under the Shari’ah-compliant Wakalah-Waqf Takaful Model.
Mr. Javed Ahmed, MD and CEO of Jubilee Life Insurance, highlighted the commitment to empowering women: “Our collaboration helps women secure their families and build a stable financial future.” Ms. Roshaneh Zafar, Managing Director of Kashf Foundation, noted that KMT allows women to achieve financial security.
A representative from UNDP Pakistan emphasized the importance of providing inclusive insurance solutions for underserved women and praised this collaboration as a model for enhancing financial resilience and supporting economic growth in Pakistan.
