PTCL and PPAF have marked Pakistan’s 79th Independence Anniversary by providing safe drinking water to over 150,000 people in South Punjab and Sindh. This large-scale initiative addresses water scarcity caused by the 2024 floods, offering solutions such as reverse osmosis plants, rainwater harvesting systems, and hand pumps to ensure long-term access to potable water in vulnerable areas.

Building on PTCL’s first clean water project in Thar that benefited 15,000 individuals, this expanded effort reflects the company’s commitment to addressing social and environmental challenges.

Nadeem Khan, CEO of PTCL, highlighted the importance of clean drinking water as a basic human need, emphasizing the organization’s responsibility to support affected families. Nader Gul Barech, CEO of PPAF, stressed the significance of safe water access for health and resilience in communities. This initiative is part of PTCL’s broader sustainability agenda under the ‘DilSe’ platform, aimed at improving quality of life through impactful interventions.
