Gwadar Port recently welcomed the MV Riva Glory, carrying 14,629 tonnes of cargo. Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, highlighted the increasing commercial activity and confidence from global shipping companies in Pakistan’s ports.

He emphasised the strategic importance of Gwadar, stating that the government is focused on improving efficiency and facilities for investors. Chaudhry reaffirmed the commitment to develop Gwadar into a world-class marine gateway, enhancing Pakistan’s role in global trade.
