Ms Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication, inaugurated Zong’s state-of-the-art Tier-III-certified data centre, highlighting its role in Pakistan’s digital infrastructure.
This facility demonstrates Zong’s commitment to enhancing Pakistan’s digital backbone with secure, scalable technology. Built to international standards, the Data Centre supports cloud solutions, AI innovation, IoT applications, and advanced cybersecurity. It represents a strategic investment that elevates the country’s technological capabilities and strengthens Zong’s role in the digital economy.
In her address, Minister Khawaja emphasised the importance of strengthening digital infrastructure for economic growth and innovation. Mr Huo Junli, CEO of Zong 4G, expressed his commitment to delivering world-class information services and expanding digital access in partnership with the government. The event also featured technology showcases from Zong, reaffirming its dedication to driving innovation and advancing Pakistan’s ICT progress.
