200 companies will attend automotive expo next year: FPCCI

Senior vice president of Korangi Association of Trade &Industry (KATI) and Chairman of FPCCI’s standing committee on Automotive Ghaznafar Ali Khan told that 150 to 200 Chinese companies will participate in Auto expo, going to held in Pakistan, next year. He welcomed that more than 70 Chinese companies are currently participating in Karachi expo. He told that head of Chinese delegation Zhang Yazhu appreciated the provided faculties to Chinese delegation and thanked FPCCI’s president for the hospitality. Ghazanfar Ali Khan said that Pakistan producing 200 thousands vehicles annually, instead of 400 thousand demand per year. He said that with the help of France, Korea and others vehicles could be upgraded and we can increase production also. He also appreciated the facilities of provided in auto policy by current government and indicated positive effects of the policy. Ghazanfar Ali said that many foreign investors are interested to invest in Pakistani auto industry. He also urged that government should secure interest of local industry interests while singing FTAs.
