Dr Muhammad Mujtaba Piracha has been appointed Pakistan’s Ambassador/ Permanent Representative to Pakistan’s Permanent Mission to the WTO Geneva.

Highly qualified and experienced, Dr Piracha has served as Secretary Industry and Commerce Punjab, Commissioner Lahore, Additional Chief Secretary Services Economy among several other positions of integrity.

Dr Piracha has a PhD from the Institute of Development Studies at the University Sussex, a BSc Econ in International Trade and Development from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Dev Studies.
