Overseas Pakistani workers remitted US $19622.62million duringFY18 showing a growth of 1.4% compared with US $19351.36million received during the same period in the preceding year. During June2018, the inflow of worker’s remittances amounted to US $1594.41million, compared to US $1771.21 million during May 2018.

The country wise details for the month of June2018 show that inflows from Saudi Arabia, UAE, USA, UK, GCC countries (including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman) and EU countries amounted to US 336.61million, US $340.55million, US $248.79million, US $245.10million, US $163.53million and US $62.14million respectively compared with the inflow of US $438.07million, US $414.25million, US $265.52million, US $252.50million, US $232.89million and US$56.97million respectively in June2017. Remittances received from Malaysia, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Japan and other countries during June2018 amounted to US $197.69million together as against US $180.04 million received inJune2017.
