Mr.Khalid Wasim Khokhar, Managing Director of Golden Shipping Lines (Pvt) Ltd has been elected as Chairman of Pakistan Ship’s Agents Association (PSAA) for the term 01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017. Similarly, Capt. M. Nouman Alvi, elected as Senior Vice Chairman and Mr.Asim Saeed Khan, as Vice Chairman respectively of the association. The election result was announced at the AGM of the Pakistan Ship’s Agents Association (PSAA), held on 28th September, 2016 at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.

The other Executive Committee Member of the association are Capt.S.Kamal A.Mahmoodi; Ms.Ava A.Cowasjee; Mr.Tariq Haleem; Mr.Bilal Barket; Capt.S.M.Farooque; Mr.Kareem Ispahani and Mr.Jawed Iqbal.

Mr. Khalid Wasim Khokhar joined the shipping business in 1979 and has since been a part of Golden Shipping Lines (Pvt) Ltd., Karachi. He has the distinction of spearheading the move from manual data / book keeping to the computerization of all processes of the company, thereby streamlining the information systems at Golden Shipping Lines. He has expertise to maintain client and principal relations and managing port operations. He is also a member of different (shipping related) sub-committees of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
