Ilma University does it once again as one of its scholar Muhammad Farrukh’s research gets published in an internationally reputed journal WILEY. This is a commendable contribution from the Faculty of Management Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Ilma University. The research titled, Corporate social responsibility and employees’ voluntary pro-environmental behaviour: The role of organisational pride and employee engagement. This targeted SDG # 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth was met exceptionally well in this research.

This research revolves around the growing significance of pro-environmental behaviour in the hospitality industry whose predictors and outcomes remain unexplored. It investigated the theoretical framework through an extensive survey selected from luxury hotels in Pakistan. The findings were well derived, indicating the direct effects of CSR & VPEB (voluntary pro-environmental behaviour).
