Engro Polymer Chemicals Ltd (EPCL) is scheduled to announce its 1QCY21 results on April 13, 2021.

• The company is expected to post PAT of PKR4,479mn (EPS PKR4.93) relative to PKR193mn (EPS PKR0.21) in 1QCY20, implying a massive increase of 22x YoY, as last year the low production was observed due to Covid-19 pandemic. Revenue is projected to register a strong growth of 128%YoY to PKR16,118mn during 1QCY21 due to a significant rise in PVC prices.

• The company’s topline is expected to up by 30%QoQ on account of increase in PVC prices during the 1QCY21.

We anticipate the company’s financial charges to slightly decline to PKR351mn during 1QCY21 owing to repayment of debt.
