The tPakistan total foreign reserves stood at US$ 14,397.4 million

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 14,397.4 million as of 20-Jun-2025. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$   9,064.5 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks :  US$   5,332.9 million

  • Total liquid foreign reserves             :  US$ 14,397.4 million

During the week ended on 20-Jun-2025, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 2,657 million to US$ 9,064.5 million due to GoP external debt repayments, mainly repayment of commercial borrowing.

During the current week, SBP has received the GOP commercial loans equivalent to US$3,100 million; and multilateral loans of over US$ 500 million. These inflows will be reflected in SBP’s Fx reserves for the week ending on 27-Jun-2025.
