The probe by international experts will expose Indian drama

Business leader and former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Dr Shahid Rasheed Butt, said on Sunday that India had faced a significant diplomatic setback over the Pahalgam drama. He said that despite best efforts by India, not a single country has stepped forward to condemn Pakistan for the false flag operation, leaving Modi profoundly disappointed.

Shahid Rasheed Butt said that considering Pakistan’s internal political situation as our weakness and trying to take advantage of it might prove to be a grave mistake for India, for which it will have to pay a heavy price.

Speaking to the business community, the business leader stated that the popularity of the Bharatiya Janata Party is rapidly declining, so Modi is resorting to drama and will never relinquish his anti-Pakistan stance.

He said that in the current dangerous situation in South Asia, the frivolous behaviour of some global powers is condemnable and disappointing. Disregarding India’s aggressive actions against Pakistan is tantamount to encouraging war, which is equivalent to destroying world peace.

Shahid Rashid Butt said that after the unilateral and illegal suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan has made it very clear in its response that Pakistan’s attempt to stop the water would mean a full-scale war.

He said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while reiterating Pakistan’s strong condemnation of all forms of terrorism, has said that Pakistan, being a responsible country, is ready to participate in “any neutral, transparent and credible investigation” of the Pahalgam incident.

However, India will never agree to independent investigations as it will expose the false flag operation, resulting in international humiliation.

The Prime Minister has also stated that peace is our desire, but it should not be considered a weakness. We will never compromise on our country’s dignity and security.

The PM also said that if anyone dared reply, it would be befitting. Water is the lifeline for our people, and any attempt to stop the flow of water in Pakistan will be responded to with full force.

Mr. Butt said that this statement by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is an expression of the feelings of the entire nation and is commendable.
