Telenor Pakistan has partnered with Data Vault Pakistan to launch the nation’s first AI-Ready Sovereign Cloud, providing secure, GPU-accelerated computing hosted entirely within Pakistan.
This initiative addresses data sovereignty concerns by enabling AI workloads to operate under local compliance requirements, eliminating the need to transfer sensitive data abroad. Enterprises will benefit from GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) for training advanced AI models, real-time analytics, and developing sector-specific AI applications in areas like fintech and healthcare.
This partnership signifies a shift from AI consumption to production in Pakistan, empowering local researchers and startups to create indigenous AI solutions. The collaboration aligns with regulatory frameworks, enhancing cybersecurity, auditability, and digital trust.
It reflects global trends in digital sovereignty and aims to support a thriving AI ecosystem in Pakistan with competitive pricing and reduced dependence on foreign infrastructure.
