SICPA Pakistan celebrated its 30th anniversary on November 27th, 2025, in Karachi, with Mr. Jameel Ahmad, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), as the Chief Guest. The event included senior officials from SBP, representatives from the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (PSPC), and SICPA’s Brand Protection partners.

In his address, Mr. Rizwan Butt, Managing Director, highlighted SICPA’s journey since its establishment in 1995, including the launch of its Brand Protection business in 2007 and the introduction of QUAZAR® technology in 2022. These efforts have bolstered SICPA’s commitment to enhancing cash automation and security in line with SBP’s goals.

Mr. Jameel Ahmad congratulated SICPA on its successful 30 years and noted the effective partnership with PSPC in providing quality security inks for banknotes. He suggested exploring SICPA Pakistan as a regional hub for exporting security inks.

Mr. Arnaud Laurans, Managing Director of Currency Services and Solutions at SICPA Switzerland, praised SICPA Pakistan’s growth as a leader in security printing and brand protection. He commended the team’s dedication and reaffirmed SICPA’s commitment to investing in advanced technologies to support Pakistan’s upcoming banknote series and brand protection needs.
