S. M. Muneer, Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority (TDAP) has formally inaugurated three-days 3rd Pakistan Mega Leather Show, 27-29th January’2017 at Lahore Expo Centre, today while officially it will be inaugurated by Khurram Dastigr khan, Federal Minster of Commerce tomorrow.

Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA), Pakistan Footwear Manufactures Association with support of other allied association have organized fair in two halls of expo centre.  

Muneer on the occasion told Trade Chronicle that to accommodate more stalls; another hall is being built to meet the growing demands from local and foreign participants and added recent textile package inclusive for leather industry announced by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, will arrest decline trend in leather exports in year to come.

Muhammd Musaddiq, Convener of leather show stated that more than 200 foreign visitors from around 20 countries including China, Italy. Spain, Turkey, France, UK, South Korea, South Africa, New Zealand, Vietnam, Hong Kong etc would be displaying their products in the show. About more then 3000-4000 trade visitors, 800 business visitors are expected to visit during three days show.
