The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Pakistan Tanners Association (Southern Zone) Environmental Society, the Global Environment Facility (gef), Pakistan Govt. and Provincial Govt. have joined hands to organize a consultative workshop on transforming the leather processing industries towards low emissions and climate resilient development paths in Karachi, next week. 

Ms. Nadia Aftab, country representative of UNIDO; Mr. Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Provincial Minister, Industries & Commerce Department, Govt. of Sindh; Gulzar Firoz, President, PTA (S.Z) Environmental Society, other experts and officials are scheduled to address the workshop, which is to be held on Oct. 24 in local hotel, Karachi.
