Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA) Southern Zone held its elections for the year 2017-18 at PLGMEA office in Karachi for 50% seats as per Memorandum & Articles of Association. Mr. M Saleem Ahmed was elected as the Chairman of the Southern Zone while Mr. Mohammad Nasir Khan was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Zone. The Members of PLGMEA Southern Zone congratulated the newly elected body of the Zone.

Other members of Southern Executive Board elected were S. Khalid Hussain, Mr. Rashid Arshad Zahur, S. Irfan Iqbal, Mr. Rizwan Rashid and Mr. Mohammad Naseem. The members present at the meeting appreciated the efforts of Out-going Chairman Syed Shujat Ali and Vice Chairman Mr. Mr. Daniyal Sheikh in solving problems of Zonal members related to local affairs & utilities.

The new chairman, Mr. M Saleem Ahmed thanked all senior members and members of incoming Executive Board for the confidence reposed in him by electing him the Chairman of this prestigious Association of Leather Industries.
