Supermeal Pakistan, a subsidiary of a UK-based international food-ordering platform, has announced a partnership with LalQila, the Karachi-based chain of restaurants in Pakistan representing Mughlai cuisine. Benefiting from the world’s state-of-the-art food ordering technology, LalQila will now work as the Supermeal’s ‘Territory Partner’ in major parts of Karachi on a profit sharing basis in the ratio of 60:40. This move is a part of the ambitious growth plans that will see Supermeal Pakistan (www.Supermeal.pk) expand its overall reach in Pakistan in joint ventures with the country’s finest restaurants and eateries.

The signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between Supermeal Pakistan and Lal Qila Restaurant was held at the Lal Qila’s headquarters. Waqar Shah, CEO, Supermeal, Zaheer Yousuf, Director, Lal Qila Restaurants, Muhammad Kabir Khan, Head of Business Development and Marketing, Supermeal Pakistan, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.

LalQila happens to be the latest addition in the growing portfolio of Supermeal, which has been in the hunt for strategic partners in different countries, including Pakistan, enabling their food sectors to integrate with the proven ordering system ruled by B2C-based e-commerce infrastructure and applications. “The partnership with LalQila goes beyond the concept of ‘meals on wheels,’ as Supermeal tends to revolutionise the way people lead their lives, from binging on tasty food at their doorstep to making them tech-savvy to carry out their routine tasks through a single tab or via a one-click process,” Waqar Shah, CEO, Supermeal Pakistan, said.

In a single month of July 2017, according to him, www.Supermeal.uk signed up a total of 74 restaurants in Birmingham, England alone and closed some 25 white-label mobile app deals worth £17,475. The business is also expanding in Ireland with its first footing in Citywest Business Park, a prime suburban industrial, commercial and technology hub in Dublin. The phenomenal expansion shows the huge potential Supermeal Pakistan can offer to local restaurants, operating in all cities and towns of the country. Extending franchise partnerships across the country, Supermeal Pakistan invites the crème de la crème of local restaurants and food centres to become a part of a technological revolution that has already taken the world by storm and creating a host of new jobs and business opportunities available to upstarts and small and medium-sized enterprises of different sectors.

Making inroads through its high-tech food ordering solutions, Supermeal Pakistan (www.Supermeal.pk), which was previously known as ‘Foortal’, is going to provide a fully managed platform to its franchise partners similar to Google and Facebook and will address entire technological concerns and problems faced by the country’s food sector in terms of online ordering and delivery, Shah added.
