Hamdard forum proposed

Mr. Usama Qureshi, Managing Director & CEO, Syed Ziauddin, Director, Corporate and Legal Affairs of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan met Muhammad Ayub Sheikh, Secretary, Ministry of National Health Services and Dr. Aslam Afghani, CEO, DRAP.

In the meeting Usama Qureshi has suggested and offered the services of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) to form a Hamdard Forum to coordinate between government and the manufacturers of Unani Medicine to solve the problems. The forum will facilitate in practical training to the graduates of BEMS and BHMS & FTJ degree holders in accordance with the laws of DRAP. It is also suggested that the laws should be made separate for Allopathic and Alternative Medicine as their philosophies are quite different. Besides the joint secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Khalid Mahmood and Dr. Zubair Ahmed also attended the meeting.
