Final Rentals, a global car rental marketplace, has launched in Pakistan, now operational at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad International Airports. For Founder & CEO Ammar Akhtar, a native of Karachi, this launch is a personal milestone, marking a return to his roots.

Frustrated by how local rental companies were overshadowed by multinational brands, Akhtar established Final Rentals to create a platform that supports independent operators. After engaging with over 800 car rental owners worldwide, he developed a vision to unite them under one brand.

In Pakistan, Final Rentals has partnered with Fast Track Travel & Tours and Fast Track Car Rental, a leading local provider. Ahtsham Ali, founder of Fast Track, emphasised the significance of bringing a globally recognised brand, created by a Pakistani entrepreneur, to the country.

For the first time, both locals and overseas Pakistanis can easily book rental cars digitally before arriving, enhancing convenience and transparency.

Akhtar noted that this venture is about more than car rentals; it’s about providing access and improving travel experiences. As Final Rentals expands globally, this launch is a poignant reminder of Akhtar’s journey, proving that global success can coexist with strong local ties.
