The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced an extension for filing Income Tax Returns for Tax Year 2025 until October 15, 2025.

The decision was made under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, in response to requests received from various trade bodies, tax bar associations, and the general public.

This extension applies to all persons who were required to file their returns by the original September 30, 2025, deadline.
